You can count on our team of trained skilled and non skilled staff. Our trained staff ( RN, LPN, CNA/GNA, PCA and CMT). Non skilled staff (House keepers, Divers, cooks, activity staff). Our skilled nursing staff are well equipped to help maintain your independence. Our team of staff are trained to assist our clients with Love, patients and kindness so our clients can have a very peaceful environment and the joy they deserve as they age. At LIMS home care our services make sure your needs are met. LIMS Resident Service Associates(RSA) currently serves clients in the comfort of their homes. LIMS assisted living facility is coming soon! 

Founder: 

The Lord Is my shepherd home care was founded by Samantha Green originally from Ghana in west Africa. She is a mother of two, a wife and a caregiver as well. As a caregiver working in a facility I always came home after work in tears because I felt I never accomplished my task as a trained caregiver. Putting my patients first was my priority. With dignity, I allowed them do as much as they can and assist as needed. Due to limited work hours, 8 hours a day with my clients just wasn’t enough. I wanted to assist my patients and clients as much as I could to encourage their autonomy.

Mission:

One question I always ask myself is how do I want someone to care for me when I’m aging? It’s difficult to be independent all your life and just one day it all changes and you see strangers coming in to help you because you are not capable of doing things yourself anymore. As Time went by I started researching on how to care for individuals whom I can care for and give them my all without feeling bad. A friend introduces me to a course at the social services department in Washington county where I started studying more about helping elderly. Once I became licensed, with a Christian background I started praying to God almighty for a good name for my agency and I believe that with a God all things are possible and anything I do with God being the genesis of my foundation He will take it to a great end. And with prayer, the Lord spoke to me in a dream by writing “The Lord is My Shepherd,” on various cars. Once awoken, I knew that was the name for my agency. Our mission here at “The Lord is My Shepherd Home Care,” is dedicated to providing quality and excellent care.
